Regarding this article (https://www.mtechzilla.com/blogs/why-nano-id-is-the-preferred-choice-over-uuid-an-in-depth-analysis) I surmized if it would be proudent to use Nano ID instead of UUID in the system, or maybe can switch the generation in the config options.
We do not use the UUID-v4 format for Kirby UUIDs by default, but a random alphanum string (16 characters). You can customize the generator already: https://getkirby.com/docs/reference/system/options/content#uuid-generation
