An issue I run into in almost every project is handling buttons and links in a design, especially when the designer is using multiple buttons. While I often use a button block, it can quickly make the panel area bloated and disrupt the page’s flow.
The main challenge is adding buttons within the flow of text. To work around this, I’ve used custom marks or repurposed a lesser-used mark—for example, creating a custom “highlighter” mark to style links as buttons. However, without access to the dialog box, this approach is cumbersome. Since buttons are a common design element, it seems like it would be relatively easy to duplicate the link mark but with an alternative tag output.
